Principal’s Message
Greetings!
Thank you for visiting The Ivey Lane Elementary School's website, where Smart is Cool and a Place of Excellence!
Our school's staff, students, and parents are proud of the academic achievement the students at Ivey Lane Elementary School have made over the past few years. We strive to educate the “whole child,” including social, emotional, and academic elements.
Ivey Lane Elementary School earned a " B " grade from the Florida Department of Education for the 2023-2024 school year. Our high-quality theater, art, media, and physical education programs, which are provided weekly, in addition to Running, Recycling, and gardening clubs, enhance our curriculum. We are proud to be a GREEN and energy-star school.
These programs help to make learning meaningful and enjoyable for students. Our teachers receive extensive professional development training to stay abreast of best educational practices. We aim to ensure that our teachers prepare our students to meet the challenges of a growing curriculum and rigorous state assessments.
Ivey Lane Elementary School doors are always open to volunteers and visitors. However, to ensure the safety of our children, we require visitors to sign in at the office for a visitor’s badge. Feel free to speak to the administration regarding our curriculum and programs. Volunteers are welcome! We are proud of our students and the efforts of our staff.
Thank you for giving us the privilege of working with your children. We look forward to working with you to provide the finest education possible for our students.
Sincerely,
Gorsha L. Galbraith
Principal
