The purpose of the 2022-23 School Advisory Council (SAC) Guide is to serve as a resource for the school principal and SAC Chair.
The SAC’s primary role is to assist in the preparation and evaluation of the school improvement plan for the current year (Fla. Stat. § 1001.452(2), 2022). The SAC also gives assistance to the principal in the planning of the upcoming year’s budget (Fla. Stat. § 1001.452(2)).
